by Ken Riley, President
Greetings. I hope this letter finds you well and filled with the spirit of joy and fellowship. As we strive to make a meaningful impact in our State, my hope and prayer is that all our churches will make every effort to attend the Annual Meeting. We believe that by coming together in unity and collaboration, we can make a significant difference in our communities and in the State of Mississippi. Your participation and support would be invaluable in achieving this mission. Our 218th Annual Meeting of the Baptist Missionary Association of Mississippi will meet with Pastor Sam Freeman and Campground Baptist Church in Gulfport on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “Focus to be the Best” from John 9:1-4. Chris Yager, our State Mission Director, will give the annual message.
The Program Committee met on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the BMA Missions Office. They worked in synergy to complete the itinerary for the 218th Annual Meeting and are deeply committed to creating an atmosphere of celebration and reverence. The vision for the program committee continues this year to build an even better meeting agenda, that will be focused on a time of worship, celebration, motivation, encouragement, and the sharing of the great work happening in the BMA of Mississippi through different resources.
Let us come together in fellowship and harmony, united by our shared faith and devotion. I eagerly anticipate your presence at this special event that we look forward to each year. Together, let us take advantage of the opportunity to produce better solutions, improve efficiency, promote growth, and create strong bonds among the brethren. I look forward to seeing you at our Annual Meeting on October 22nd.
