State Association To Meet at Big Creek, Soso
The BMA of Mississippi will meet for its 2008 midyear meeting on Monday and Tuesday, May 19 & 20 at Big Creek Baptist Church, Soso, Mississippi. The church is located on Highway 84, 10 miles east of Laurel and 15 miles east of Collins. [Story Continues] National Association Meets in Waco, Texas

The Baptist Missionary Association of America held its 59th annual session at the Waco Convention Center in Waco, Texas, April 21-23. 261 churches were represented by 549 messengers with an additional 286 registered visitors. Seven churches petitioned membership into the Association and the Missions Department commissioned two new missionary families to new fields of service. [Story Continues] |

Mary Lou Kellar, the widow of the late Dr. Gerald D. Kellar, died at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas on April 28, 2008 at the age of 87. At the time of her death she resided by 726 Walnut Drive, Killeen, Texas. Mrs. Kellar was born May 30, 1920 in Ironton, Texas. [Story Continues] |
